Replaced door blend acuator still not working

Only heat blows even when just on vent or ac or anything. I replaced the door blend and it still not working! Any ideas?

do you have electronic auto temp controls or manual?

have you checked to see if it moves back and forth as you change temps or did you just bolt the new one in
Sometimes (most times) on a 97 the axle the blend door rides on will actually break so there is nothing for the actuator to grab onto

Might be a silly question, but not only did you replace the actuator, but you also plugged the electrical connector back in, right?

Should check the vacuum connection to the heater valve in the engine compartment as well.
