Don't you all love coming out of dinner into a parking lot and finding some $%^$## hit your side view mirror. Well, came out and interestingly enough the dude snapped only the mirror portion off, not the entire assembly. #$#$%@ didn't have the balls to stay around and the parking spot was empty when i came out.
So here's the question. Ford wants $150 for the entore assembly, I can get it on ebay for around 50 bucks. It doesn't seem like its possible to reattach the mirror portion only, its just the mirror lens thats broken and looks like one of the 4 pivoting screws on the moutinf. How hard is it to replace the unity. Anyone have the details on how to do the swap? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
