Are there any scan tools available to the public that are able to read advance-trac codes on a Gen3? I have an 03 Aviator that is giving me a check advance trac message on the dash and the shop manual references using a scan tool to pull the codes but what I have only pulls power train and accessories.

Thanks guys

I use ScanXL. I think that will pull the codes. Check the plug on the back of the switch. Mine was loose and caused the problem. Be careful prying up the plastic though so you don't break it.

There is a program called ForScan that would probably do it when paired with an ELM327 OBDII module.
