Truck has a shudder/vibration between 30 and 45. It is mainly there when you give it gas. was told to change lower balljoints so I did. they were bad but this only made the shudder go away slightly. What else could this be? Going to remove front drive shaft to see if that helps but any thoughts would be great.

Thanks!

Is this is a intermittent or consistent shudder?
Does this occur with overdrive on, off, either?

When I got mine, I had a shudder that occurred somewhere between 30-40 but only when overdrive was on. If O/D was off, the shudder did not occur.

I can't remember what the dealership did to resolve the issue. I want to say it was a PCM flash, but I very well could be wrong since that was ~10 years ago.

Pulled the front drive shaft. NO change. Seems to be something in the rear diff. I have a 3.73 LS rear end. When I make a turn there is clanking sound in the rear end.
Anyone have a problem with this??
