I just bought a 94 ranger 2wd 4.0 liter engine. The transmission shifts fine between 1st and second then before shifting to third the engine will rev up and then it will engage third. I have heard of this happening on the newer transmissions but not on the A4LD. Any ways i was wondering if there was a way to fix it? I was thinking the vacuum modulator was bad? any advice would be great.
