I seem to remember I read somewhere that it was 100 Watts. The Sony system on the Limited and sports is supposed to be 390 watts.
The 100 watts is laid out:
-2x Door Handle Tweeter 25W 80hms (Size: 1")
-2x Front Door Fe Midwoofer 25W 40hms (Size: 6x9")
-2x Rear Door Fe Full Range 25W 40hms (Size: 6.5")
-2x 3rd Row Fe Midrange 25W 160hms (Size: 80mm)
-1x IP Center Channel Fe 25W 80hms (Size: 80mm)
Although the information I have doesn't break it down, it states; Premium Sound System, 190 watts of power, eight speakers. The Sony Audio System, 390 watts, 12 speakers (including 2 subwoofers) in 10 locations.
This is from a handout on the 2011 Explorer.
