Stuck hood -94 XLT

I can't get my hood open. Not sure if the cable snapped or lost tension, but it does not work. Is there any way to open the hood manually. I sprayed around the latch with WD-40, but still no dice. Car is making noises, so I can't drive it to mechanic!

Try having someone pull and hold the latch inside the truck while you try to open it. Or after pulling the latch in the truck, try pulling up on the hood a bit to make it "pop", then open it as normal. Hope that helps, I had the same problem a few weeks ago, thats how I went about fixing it

have someone pull the latch, and at the same time, push down on the hood and then lift. It should work.
