Thoughts on throttle body spacer for 3.5L ecoboost

Found a throttle body spacer online here and just wondering if the is a legit performance upgrade or just a total scam and waste of 150 bucks. I know that on vintage vehicles it was common to put spacers under the carb to gain torque but no idea if this works still on newer EFI engines.

Also, any possible issues that it would cause? I know these new engines are pretty finely tuned machines...

Search around. Nothing posted here about spacers has been positive.

Waste of money. I see no benefit because our intake plenum is already well designed with plenty of volume. 3 bar MAP, one heat range colder plugs, cooler t-stat, K&N drop-in air filter, and a tune is a solid mild combination.
