Hello guys. I'm new to the forum. Been lurking awhile and decided to finally join in.
I'm planning on buying a 1995 to 2001 Explorer with a 5.0 with the goal of making it into a prerunner.
I would really like a manual trans and am wondering if anyone has swapped a TKO 500 or 600 into these trucks. I've searched google and a few forums and havent had any luck finding anything. I know you can put the TKO into the fox body mustangs so I would think you could do the same with the explorers. :scratch:
If it makes a difference the truck will be 2wd. If I get it as a 4wd it will be converted to a 2wd so there will be no transfer case to mess with.
