VIDEO: Installing Ford Flex Shift Knob - 2006-2010 Explorers
Hey all. One of the BEST modifications Ive made to my Explorer after getting it was swapping out the shift knob. I HATED that stock knob. It was horrible looking, feeling, etc. So I decided to do the Flex knob install. After reading some of the stories about the lock out not working I decided I needed to figure out why exactly it was getting screwed up, and figure out a way around it.
I came up with the best solution for that problem, and its extremely easy. The only issue left is the fact that it doesnt lock into 1st gear gate completely. But I will post a second video about that as I dont think its as big of a problem as it seems.
