Volant Air Intake Kit 4.0 OHV

i had bought a volant intake that was said to fit a 4.0L SOHC Ranger/Explorer.
Got it- it didnt fit well at all. Tube didnt fit too well airbox itself didnt fit to well in the engine compartment.
Finish and quality was, otherwise, top notch.. well built.. looked great. just didnt fit.
Mine coulda been a bad kit.. but i sent it back to truckperformance.com and had them send me a K&N FIPK2 instead. and it does fit.

Why not give it a shot.. if it doesnt fit.. send it back

I tried one also but the Volant box wouldn't seat down right due to the bracket for the trans cooler lines on the radiator.
