W/S Wipers

This is driving me crazy.
When I use my wipers for an extended period of time the drivers side wiper leaves black marks on the glass, right where the wiper reverses direction and starts back down the w/s. The wipers are new and the glass was clean before the rain started. Any suggestions as to what can be causing this? I tried BOSCH wipers, they did the same thing. Now I'm back to Trico's and the same problem. It really is driving me nuts..............................

IS it really the wiper blade?

Just a long shot but maybe it is not the blade at all. It might just be dirt that is being pushed off the wind sheild and then making a deposit there.

I dunno

But if you get muddy water up on your windsheild.....you will get that line over on the side from the dirt.

Maybe check to see if you have the right blades for the application, Check to make sure the wiper arms aren't bent and applying a get force against the glass at the end position?????????
