In anticipation on my tentative move date and me having to prove weight without my family, luggage, and boat in tow. I did a hasty trip up to USA Truck and got on the CAT Scales.
I weighed it with only 1 gallon left in the tank, nothing else in the vehicle besides a car seat, manuals pouch in glove and mounted DVD player.
So below you know my options for it and it weighed a total of.....
4820 pounds....shes a porker. I was outside the vehicle so this is the weight I got. I can honestly say that she is closer to 4800 without the small tid bits in the vehicle.
Anyone else get there Ex weighed yet?
When I leave to my next assignment I will use the same scale with full tank of gas, full tank of gas in the boat, famliy, gear, and me! I'll post once I get those numbers.
If you guys remember last time I posted it before I picked up the boat it was 5400lbs with three 115lb girls, 27lb kid, some luggage, and I wasn't even in the vehicle so I'm sure it would have been 5600lbs even.
To be honest...thats hefty and for Kitty to return mid 20's MPGs is really DAMN GOOD!!
