wheel and tire???

I started doing my truck but money is getting a little tight. I have the body lift and I need tires. In the interest of saving $$ I was wondering if 315/70/16 will fit on my stock rims. I have the 2" TT/shackle lift and a 3" body. Any input will be appreciated.

i would go to a tire manufacturer's website, find the exact height of a 315/70/16 tire in inches, and cross check that number with the data on the following thread:

i wouldnt personally, thats quite a tire......

you are looking at a 16x7" stock rim and putting on basically a 33.4x12.4" tire!!!! thats almost 5" wider and 3" taller than a stock tire... with 5" wider being the bad part... it will fit, but will have a ballon look to it, and might wear funny.....
