Windows stutter...

On the 3rd attempt my Dealer installed a very thin strip of medium density black plastic foam into both the driver & passenger window glass channels to prevent the window glass from shaking as it moves up and down. It worked, no window shaking/stuttering for about a year now.

Well, it's been over 3 years since the Dealer put the plastic foam strip into my window channels to take up the slack in the channel and both windows are still working fine. Go figure...

It probably reduced the drag on the glass. I can't see what else beside the motor or the channels that guide the glass that would cause the stutter.
