02 Explorer will not start. almost ran it out of gas, filled it up and it started chugging then died. I checked the fuel pressure to the rail and was getting 32 psi will cranking, and 40 when stopped cranking so i would assume that my pump is working. Checked spark on all six spark plugs and all sparked changed my spark wires and still will not start. There was know check engine light ether. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may have got a tank of bad gas. Get a pressure gague with bleedoff and drain some gas off the rail. Let it sit and see if water separates out of it.

I believe the fuel pressure should be on the order of 60 psi. If I am remembering correctly, something is preventing adequate pressure build-up.

Fuel filter?

Fuel Pressure Sensor? This will generate a trouble code. Check for codes. imp
