2000 Ford Explorer XLT
Hi I am new to this forum. My dad gave me his 2000 Explorer and it is in very good shape however the grey trim is pretty faded and I am trying to find replacement moulding to replace the old ones however everything I look at is either discontinued or out of stock (permanently?) Anyone know where bumper parts etc can be still purchased? Tnx

Why not re paint the vinyl pieces? Some vinyl paints/ dyes on the market are very good

Many of us have updated the old faded grey plastics with. I’ve black vinyl paint or heck even go grey again

I'd try the darkest gray automotive vinyl dye rattle can paint you can find, but first I would take a very stiff brush to scrub as much oxidation off as possible, starting in an inconspicuous area in case it destroys the texture.
