Ok, well, I guess its about time I started my rollover thread. I had a party at my apartment, with a whole bunch of my friends from highschool over. Everybody was drinking and so-forth, but I stopped drinking around 10 because I had to drive my girlfriend home. So, after a few hours of sobering up, i decided to depart on the 35 minute drive at around 2:30AM. The ride there was fine, because she was with me to keep me awake, but the ride home was a different story. I made it to within 5 miles from my house, then fell asleep behind the wheel. The rode turned to the right, but i kept going straight. I woke up as i was hitting a mailbox, but by that time i was already going off a 5 foot tall embankment at roughly 40MPH. The front right hit...
Went to work last night ended up doing a different route than the one I normally do but I thought no problem but then this happen.......... Welp it was bound to happen sooner or later I had a little accident this morning on Interstate 8 near Stanfield AZ was driving along when I accidently dozed behind the wheel and ran off the highway and put her in the ditch at 65 MPH here a couple of pics I took at the scene..... I am not hurt, truck, trailer and load survived with minimal damage. Attached Images
This crash happened last winter, I was one of the firefighters on scene, all the passengers recovered from there injuries, speeds of both explorers were about 50-60mph, 2 people in the brown explorer just needed door pops to get them out, the driver of the white explorer was a little more entrapped, had to take the roof and pass side doors to get him out.
well this saturday night after supper when it was still daylight i was following a friend in my truck to his cabin, well come to be on the way there, we had to venture across about 5mi of gravel road, and loose gravel, i came to a S-turn where on one side was a pond maybe 2acres big and on the left side a tiny pond maybe 200ft back in from a prarie, going into the S-turn there was some nasty loose gravel and washboards and i lost control, trying to counter-steer out of the slide i over did it, started to slide the opisite direction, counter-steered again too much, this time comming to the last turn in the S-turn and slide right into the ditch nearly sideways w/ my front left tire going in first, my tire bit into the soft wet dirt and...
Last Weds. around dark as I was heading home from college (taking automotive courses), I was just about 1 mile away from home and bam! a deer jumps right out in front of me. I nail him going 60 MPH. Come to a stop, and check the damage. Surprisingly it did hardly any damage. Busted a driving light, bent the bumper 2 1/2 inches back on the drivers side and put a dent in the drivers quarter panel.... Thats it. As I looked down the road, the deer had flew accross the road and lay there colored red and lifeless..... This is the first deer I've hit since driving. I know its not a huge Whoops, but its something.
Yeah...this is it. My first car accident. Ever. Let me give you all the details... So, I wake up in the AM. Go down to Sea Isle City to see my dad, driving home on a local highway deal that runs through the shopping area of where I live. It's a four lane deal, median in the middle, etc etc. Well I'm driving like I always do, traffic is decent so we're only moving at about 45 in the passing lane, when all of a sudden I hear screeching tires and the truck in front of me goes from 50mph to 0 in about 5 feet so they can try and do an illegal U-turn. I slam on my brakes and I know I'm not going to stop in time, so I swerve to the median side and clip the other truck with my fender/tire. Snapped the output shaft on the steering box, where...
Wow 2009 has not been my year! So my Limited is now dead. I was hopping it would not be totaled but it has been. Last night I went over a big hump in the road and I had just took the weight out of my back end. I fish tailed long story short I met this nice guy named Tree... Yeah totaled. I might buy it back and rebuild it my self, not to sure yet only time will tell! ###k I have been freaking out. There is a RARE chance it might not be totaled but I don't see that happening... :( Oh well what can I do? I will just take off all my everything and put then on another one! Is that looking at the right side? Can Rick change my Screen Name to take in a account my new truck? If I do end up with a new one? Damn! Ugh! Oh...
I warned him when he got stuck that I was going to post this here, lol... So I told him he probably wouldn't make it through, this stuff was deep and very stoppable... But since I was there to pull him out he decided to try it(good for him) lol... well yeah, he got stuck, plowed some mud and got pulled out. All in all a good time for everyone... Except maybe my Ex who had to work a little hard.... ;) SO I had to pull him out...
Waiting is OVER! The truck I was driving! This picture was taken on Christmas... Later that night...March 11th 2007 March 11th 2007 I was throw 30 yards from my truck. I was in coma for a month, brain surgery, left arm rebuild, and got out of the hospital a month after waking up...So that was 2 months in the hospital...Its now been a year
Well, the night after Johnstone cracked open his pumpkin, I decided I needed to destroy something on my truck. I noticed a funny noise while out wheelin, and since it was late, I decided to just unlock the hubs, shift into 2hi and head home. Checked it out tonight, and horrified myself. looks like I'm going to need a new axle shaft. oops.... This pic was taken about a week earlier, when I decided to pull into a huge mud hole, get stuck and take some good stuck pics. And one last one, this was the entertainment at the creek for the nite (if this is inappropriate, let me know- but I was sure to use a pic where they were covered up)
