ok, vehicle is an 06 exporer limited. My wife tells me every time it rains she gets water dripping through the driver map light. I suspect it is getting in around the sunroof. How difficult is replacing the weather stripping around it? Any other possible culprits?

Check the front sunroof drains. Use search and you'll find plenty of threads here about them.

yeah, it's not the seal around. There is a TSB to reroute the drain tubes. They have a low point somewhere that clogs I believe.

It needs to be straighten out or something, still to be done on mine, have same issue on my 06.

Actually the problem is the rear drain tubes. There is no downward slop, so they fill with water and back-up into the tray.

Replaced both of mine last year. Check TSB 07-20-6

Thanks Bill, very helpful.
