1" intake spacer on '00 5.0L - CEL

Curious if anyone else has experienced an issue like this before after upgrading their 5.0L engine with a 1" phenolic spacer. To complete the installation I had my friend weld a 1" section to the EGR tube to maintain it's functionality. Consistent CEL indicating EGR flow issue now, although everything appears to be fine.

That sounds like an issue with that EGR pipe, plugged from the modification, or a rubber hose off or leaking etc. Check that all out again carefully.
