I have the same problem. I put the switch to high and go move the wiper with my hands. It starts again. I also notice that when I do not use the rear wiper. For this reason, whenever I drive I just make sure that I clean my rear window with the wiper. Since then it never stop again.

In my opinion, you have something robbing against the brake rotor either the guard or the pad. That happened on my fathers Camry.

I totally agree with BGN. The last time my mechanic turned the wheels without the engine running it took about ten miles before the air made its way out of the system. Now every time my X is in for a tune up or any kind of work I tell the mechanics never to turn the wheels without power.

Thanks. I will have it change at my mechanic. I do not have a garage and it is too cold now to do it myself. FYI my explorer has 80k miles. :)
