Well, I got a call from my wife this morning after I got to work that the explorer wouldn't start. She said that the power doorlocks opened the door, but then wouldn't lock it? And that nothing will even come close to working, like the horn, radio, and won't turn over at all. She called up her dad to jump her because I work 45 miles away and he was close, he tried it, and the jump didn't turn over the truck either. The battery was also new last november. Truck also worked fine yesterday. Anyone got any ideas? are there any relays anywhere I should check? As far as we know nothing was left on over night.
When I get home this evening I'm going to....
1. Check the voltage on the battery
2. Disconnect the battery and check for any current when the truck is off.
3. Check all visual wiring(and any wiring I've done)
4. Clean the battery terminals
5. Try my set of keys....(PATS system?)
any more ideas?
