Heres some pics of what i did this week.
Ive been wanting to add some sort of driving lights for a while, but wanted to wait till i got a brush guard. But i didnt feel like waiting and decided to buy some lights from the auto store.
Then i ordered some VHT Nightshade and....

Let me know what you think, at first i really wanted to put the driving lights on a brush guard and i still do...But i still cant make up my mind if i think it looks cheesy or not. Help me out!!

Thanks for any comments

Your probably gonna have rats all over the neighborhood in your driveway tomorrow morning.:D JK
I cant really see the lights that well but from what I do, they look great. IMO most Explorers look better with additional lights. Makes them look "serious". Tail lights look good also. Need some birght sun pics.

thanks, my pics came out horrible for some reason, i didnt have much time to mess with it, they sure are bright though-has anyone ever put a dimmer on them??

No Way. I assume those are driving lights, as opposed to "fog" lights. You would only use them as you would your high beams or offroad.

got ya, for the short time ive had them i have already have numerous people flash their high beams at me....

maybe they were jealous

No...Maby you were blinding them.
Thats why I have my driving lights relay spliced intothe high beams. That way they are not on unless the high beams are on. Just a thought....

looks awesome

ill have to check that out, thanks

Could ya take a picture of your truck with your driving lights on, plus your headlights?
Driving lights on, fogs on, headlights on, ect..

yea, ill do that, i dont have fogs though
do you care what time of the day the pic is taken?

Nah, preferably where I can see your nice light setup though. =P

I think the lights look really good there, how big are they?

Hey man, just a piece of photography advice(i'm a semi-pro) try to take the same pictures about 30 minutes earlier in the day. You need just a bit more ambient light for your camera.

oh and try the twilight portrait setting on your camera, and set it down on something to keep it still. let me know how it works for you!

thanks for the camera tip, im not very good at setting my camera up.
ill try it and post the pics of all the lights

thanks for the comments and ill also find out what size they are-i forget

if you can set you camera to "p" mode on the canon's and a little more of a monaul mode you make make the shutter longer and put it on a tripod. you will have to play with how long for the shutter on, the darker it is the longer the shutter, well depending on the iso and some other features.

hope that help but i probable confused you
