...this is where we can discuss the f150 Coil Seat Lift and shackles... the problem is so many people do this lift and don't post their pics or how they like the lift and being able to upsize there tires...

...So please, post your before/after pics here and what you think about your lift...this would help others who are interested in doing this to their vehicle....
...i for one really enjoy my inexpensive lift on my ranger and i believe it is the best bang for the buck for a 1 1/2" suspension lift...

...here is the link to the how to thread...;)

Oh I do I do:D But that was a long time ago. Now I'm using them to level or get 6" out of the skyjacker 6" springs which settle to 4 and1/2" or so i'm told. I also use the shackles with an aal in an Explorer spring pack and stock block in the rear for 6". At the time i was at 2" the Ex springs gave me 2-3". I was running 32x11.5 15 tsl radials on stock rims. I hab no clearence issues at all. sorry no pics then:( This the seat now.

.......that looks clean ....

......i know a lot more people have done this mod...post up your pics...:D

Here was mine before I started my SAS. It LOOKS higher than some I think. However, after cutting out the rockers and replacing them with my sliders I gained around 4" of body clearance (i think that's right...been awhile!). It's ok for mild-moderate trail/mainly street truck. You loose alittle down travel since you are still using the same old crap ttb springs but oh well.

Lift worked out real well while i had it. put a bunch of miles on it both street and trail before i decided to change things up again.

i know this is an older thread, but being new to the explorer scene, ive got a noob question. ive got a set of 285/75-16 bfg's and im wondering how well this lift will work with these tires, or should i plan on a 2" body lift as well?
