I was wondering what was going on! They are the same style of rims and tires I had on the Exploder. But they are new. Now all I need to is ilft the rear a bit.
I am using a 5.5 in Superlift from a Explorer in the front and 3 inch add-a-leaf in the rear. The rear is sitting a little low so I will be adding some extended shackles in a week or so.
Hey hix I just wanted to say that the truck looks great, I am pretty sure I saw it about a month ago, I was in Denver with a freind and I swear I saw it down by the new stadium, anyway it looks great!
I only flared them 1.5 inches. You can flare them up to 3inches.
If you look at the inside of the wheelwell you see a panel spreading the bed side from the bed and supports holding the bottom out. Cut a line thru the spreader and use a scissor jack to spread the fender out the desired amount. then extend the supports by the same amount by ubolting them, cutting them in half and welding some angle in there to spread em. If you go more than what I did the re is a seam near the tailgate you'll need to cut as well.
Here is a link that shows some of the procedure. From start to end it took me 4 hrs to do both sides.
