'01 V8 fan clutch removal, how to?

Hey guys, while working on my X I noticed the fan clutch is stuck so the fan runs all the time. I see there's a big nut behind it. Just break it loose and rmove the whole fan/clutch assembly? Is it left hand thread? How do you keep the water pump from turning? Does it take a special wrench? Anything I need to know would be appreciated...

+1 on getting the wrenches. Advance and Autozone locally both loan them out. I scoffed at needing them - then about 4 hours of bad lanquage later I went and got them and had it off in 10 minutes!!
