Please advise: I had my infamous 5R55W failing at 32,000 miles. The dealer replaced most of the components and has worked fine. Now the car has 78,000 miles and I want to replace the fluid. He's charging $159.00 to do a transmission "flush" but I don't particularly care for flushes. I asked him how much for dropping the pan and replacing the filter, he wants $215.00. I probably would like that option better. What do you guys think? I'm new to this forum and I love it. This is my first post. Regards.
