07 sport trac exhaust

Hey, I'm not gonna lie I don't know alot about cars so I am turning to you guys for help. I am about to buy this exhaust system for my car, which is designed for the 4.6L V8 sport trac, but i have the 4.0L V6. Can I still use it or will there be problems?

Also I am looking for an air intake for my car and was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions? thank you

it should still work but might have to adjust the pipe a little

I would suggest that you contact the seller and ask them this question since they specify it's for the 4.6 and not the 4.0,also you don't want to get stuck with the 25% restock fee for a return.

I have a Gibson on my V6. Looking at their site, it seems they list one system for the V8 and the V8 system plus a V6 system for the V6. Difference seems to be the pipe diameter.

i talked to a sales rep at http://www.hottexhaust.com he seemed to know his stuff and he said that the 4.6 kit should work

Your best bet is to have a custom exhaust made. It's a lot cheaper too.

They have great customer service and the best prices I have found. Don't pay attention to the listed price call the guy and he will give you the price. My cobra exhaust was over 500 listed on the site and I got it for 350 shipped.
