1991 Explorer Test from Motorweek Classic

4 explorers & all had 3.27's, I was never able to chirp any of them.

I think I would have checked for a different set of gears personally. That is unless the deal was too good to pass up.

For giggles I tried with my 3.27 truck. It actually spun pretty well. I was surprised.
 












Mine with 3.55 and 31x10.5 acts like 3.27's but even then I can spin them...on ice, snow and mud. Hehe...!
 






I enjoyed both videos, thanks for posting the links. I'm one of those 10 percent who drives off road, and I like the 4 wheel ABS (although it growls at me at times with braking on loose stuff). I'm happy with the braking and usually keep my X 5-speed between 1500 and 2000 RPM (I read that's optimal torque).
