I will be installing a few lights on the front of my truck soon & have the factory fog light swich from an old kit I had years ago. Does anyone know where to mount the stock fog light switch on a 1992 XLT Explorer ??
There should be a space located directly underneath the rear windsow washer and rear window defogger. Thats where ford put the factory fog light switch
ive got a 93, but when i was putting on my lights and looking for a place i didnt like that space under the rear wiper and such because it seemed too small behind there and it required me to cut alot of existing plastic behind it. so i searched around on my dash and found this place by the ac vent. i like it alot just because it up high, but i went with big monster switches...
hmm, i thought all 93-94's had a dead space beneath the two switches doesn there. If you got a limited, then a hole was pressed out and switch installed. Then again, I'm running a dash bexel from a 94 limited in my 92 Eddie bauer and just put in the aftermarket CATZ foglight switch it its place. Even that was years ago, lol
