Hi Guys,
Well its like this, I was driving down the road the other day when the strap that holds the rear part of the tank up broke ( due to rust ) and was hanging for about 50 miles from the front.....after repairing it, It now leaks when I have over a 1/2 tank of gas. It looks like it is seeping from the "seam" where the front part of the tank bolts to that bracket. I am debating on wether to pull it and have it welded or just replace it, Witch is where my question comes from :
Why is it the tank for a '96 only fits a '96? Does anybody know why a tank from a '97 - '98 would not work? they look the same in pictures
(side stradle tank) and there is a BIG price diffrence for the '96
Many Thanks for your help.....
