1997 ford explorer passenger window

Hi guys. Ok so my problem is that my passenger window stopped operating in the down position and ive checked relay. Checked for power to window switch on both passenger door switch and drivers side main switchboard. Everything is all good. I can hear a click sound from what sounds like the motor for the window. Ive heard these things are operated by a wire/cable style instead of the old scissor style. Could the problem be within the regulator?

The motor uses plastic gears to roll the window. You could either buy a new motor with gear on it or try to locate a place that sell the gear and replace the gear (Napa or Ebay may have it).
