2002 Information display

I have a 2002 Explorer adn right now when I push the info button I can only look at trip, average mpg, and the range till empty.

When you look in the manual I should be able to select other options when you push the other buttons, the different types I can't think of right now. But one of them is the auto lock, which I can't access.

basically mine doesn't do all the stuff the manual says it is supposed to do. I recently had a Mercury Mountaineer rental car and I was able to do all the different things that the manual says.

Do I need to maybe disconect the battery to reset the system or what?

To access the other information and to change stuff you need to hold one of the buttons. I forget which one but it's in the manual. If it still doesn't work you can take it to the dealer.
