New to this need some answers and any help.
I have a 2003 Ford Sporttrac with 173,000 on it. At 169,000 this past summer I replaced all solenoids, valve body with shift kit on trans. In Sept. 2012 had the entire trans rebuilt after having a slippage between 2nd and 3rd and no passing gear. The rebuild was everything from gears to plates, bands, torque converter, servo, neutral safety switch,abs and OD sensor. Trans worked fine until cold weather set in. when it is cold trans will not shift between 2nd and 3rd, and once engaged no downshift to get moving. Once the truck is at operating temp, everything works fine. Did notice no power issue until trans kicks in. This truck has had everything rebuilt from front and rear suspension and fresh new motor in January 2012 after timing chain issue that Fords better idea failed. Can't afford another vehicle but the trans issue has everyone scratching their head. It is now going back a third time after nearly being rear ended because it won't shift. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
