I having trouble with the 4x4 / Low Range button amber lights always having a faint light glow, when not engaged. Also with running lights off. Everything will work as in shifting. If you do engage the buttons will light the right way. I've switch the switch with another switch still have the faint amber glow ( both lights ).

I also have these other problems that happened at the same time:
- Tach stays at 6,000 rpms
-gas gauge stays past "F" (to the right).
- faint amber glow

Everything runs and works great.

Ive noticed that when it gets really cold outside. If it gets below 30* outside, my low range LED is faintly lit up until the truck warms up. It doesn't seem to affect operation at all. It did the dame thing in my 89 Bronco2, and it did it with 3 separate switches in the Ex.

My does the same...These cars are possessed. An exorcism may help.
