5 spd clutch/slave help please!

In your rebuild, I'd suggest getting a new slave. Spend the extra few $$ & get the Ford unit. They seem to be the best. Alot of the aftermarket ones fail.

Does anyone know how far (what distance) the slave cylinder should actuate - push in the pressure plate diaphram springs?

Any help is appreciated!
