5-Speed Gearbox Concern

I have a '94 Sport w/ a 5 speed (94k mi). I have heard that these gearboxes are not very strong and have had my share of problems. I lost 2nd gear and synchron at 74k and have been bothered by a slow drip for the last 10k. The lastest problem is strange...I was driving rather aggressively through the gears on a highway entrance ramp. After the 3-4 shift, a got on the gas hard as a was releasing the clutch. Bang...the gearbox appeared to jump up. Was a little concerned but everything seemed ok. However, now shifting to 1st and reverse when stopped is more difficult. Almost feels like there is a little more slack in the gearbox and the gears are not connecting quite right. Trans mount? Other problem? Thanks to anyone with suggestions.
