6X9's in doors

Will 6X9's fit in to the front and rear doors of a 98. I know they will need a little triming anyone ever done this.

i think so, i think thats what i have in my 96 pretty sure 6x9, could be wrong but i think thats what mine are

Unless you did some trimming/homemade adaptors then you dont have 6x9's.

Stock are 6x8, run of the mill 5x7's fit. Adaptors are made for 5 1/4" and 6 1/2" round speakers to fit as well. I think if you want 6x9's, for whatever reason, you'll have to make em fit, could be wrong though, I've never wanted to use 6x9s in my fords.

ya maybe mine are 6x8's then, couldnt exactly remember, how have to trim alot to fit the 6x9?

well technically it's "only an inch", but you'll probably end up making new speaker mounts.

although I've never seen them used, I cant believe you wouldn't have to trim some sheetmetal.
