Got some ford ranger questions if anyone can help, I need to bypass my engine coolant temperature sensor because I installed a new gage that comes with its own sending unit, and I need to clear the code out of the computer, also I have some problems when my ranger idles, it idles ruff and seems to almost pullsate which Is weird, I replaced the EGR valve and sensor as well as the O2 sensor, I think it could be my idle air control but I was woundering if anybody has had the dame problem? Any advice is grately appreciated.....thanks

Welcome to this forum! Don't get confused between the engine coolant temperature sensor for the computer controls, and the temperature sending unit for the gauge.
