96 Mazda weird turn signal

Hi, I'm new here and hope somebody can help me with my turn signal problem. I've got a 96 B2300 with 230,000 miles been a great rig, but now the left turn signal won't shut off. It will come on while the truck is setting in the drive without the key on and the switch in the center position. The only way to shut it off is to push in the flasher or pull the battery. I Replaced the MFS and when I reconnected the battery the left turn signal started flashing. Help!

..You may have pinched/cut a wire or two in your steering column or under the dash..

..Have you ever added any aftermarket alarm or stereo to this vehicle?

I'll take a look again, but I checked it close when I replaced the switch. I haven't added anything new just replaced the switch trying to fix the problem. Very strange. Thanks for your help I'll let you know if I find something.
