97 sport on a 69 bronco frame

Curious my budy has 69 bronco frame that is sold and seems to be about the same length as my explorer sport. My idea is to see if there is a way to transfer the body onto the early bronco frame. I have not started to exam just curious what people thought ?

Would it just be a matter of the body mounts linning up ? Just curious what all I need to take into consideration ?

I have seen one dude put a BII body on a EB frame. He re-worked most of the bottom of his body to lower it for COG reasons.

I don't see why it wouldn't work you just would have to probably make some new body mounts.

that would be extremely cool. in fact that gives me ideas for the 67 in my best friends garage with the built 302 and eight inch suspension lift but no body 'cause it was rolled and it was junked. he's been thinking about getting a lot of fiberglass for it, but maybe he should talk to perry's fab and fiber and look into this. i've never though about it but they do seem to be about the right size. cool idea man

Check it out. It's a modfied BII body, but I have seen a regular BII body on an EB frame also. It can be done.
