Airbag crash sensor location??

Can anyone tell me where the front (airbag) crash sensor is located?
I am pretty sure the one on my '04 Mountaineer is bad, I just can't seem to find it; I've spent way too much time looking for the danged thing.
I am almost ready to take the vehicle to the dealer!

I don't have a manual for 04, but I would look on both sides of the frame rail near where the front bumper bolts to it. You should see the sensors there. They are designed so that they activate as the front bumper is pushed rearwards into them, so they are going to be close to the bumper.
