My speakers have been whining for a wile now. They are being powered by a 200 watt amp. I can't figure out the problem. I rev the engine and the whine gets a higher pitch when it revs up. Is it my ground. I have 2 amps grounded at the same spot and I just replaced my alt because it took a dump. Also I have a computer fan on the amps (currently unhooked) and it just makes the whining noise much louder. Help me please it is driving me to CRAZY! :banghead:

the poer and ground wires should be run on the opposite side of the car as the speaker wire and RCA cables. if they car grouped together you get the interference. sperate the power from the speaker wire.

i would simply take off ur grounds sand down the paint on the car sand down the end that is on the wires and put it back see what it does..if it doesnt help u may need to find a new grounding spot like straight to the frame
