Another stuck cd(but different)

A lot of people here seem to have experenced a stuck cd, but it usually just gets fixed by a wack on the dash or prying the cd out.

I have the 6 cd changer and I hit eject, then disk 1. The cd cover opened but the cd didn't come out and it says cd error. I've taken out the disk, but the screen is still open and it won't do anything in cd mode. It has 5 cd's in it and it still show's I have the 6th(#1 slot) in. When I hit eject it says cd error, when I hit load it says slots full. Anyone have any solutions? I've already tried disconnecting the battery and nothing changes.

that's what I was going to sugggest...how about seeing if there is a release button inside that you can see,in the middle of the tray or something that needs to be popped up for the player to register the cd is out?
