That movement in the pedal is the anti lock brakes kicking in because you were sliding.

Your brakes and the ABS system seems to be working correctly.

also i noticed that my rear brakes are not working at all..any info will be great

What makes you think that??

because when i push on the brakes and im sliding i looked at the rear tires and they keep rolling. they dont stop and roll like antilock breaks do i think. also r u sure that the grinding in the pedal is normal?

Anti Lock Brakes don't lock (stop then roll). They keep the wheel spinning.

Your brakes are working correctly, the noise is normal.

Now would be a good time to read your owners manual.
