brake question?

went and replaced the pads ,rotor and bearings because driver side rotor had 3 really deep grooves in it .well 2 weeks later go and do the ball joints. and the rotor is starting to get the same three grooves in it .i did every thing that i have read on this site .cleaning the calipers and greasing the guides . the grooves start at the outside edge of the rotor and its only on the side facing you.so what do you think replace calipers ? or could the spindle cause this . and what would cause it to groove only the top half of the pad and not the whole thing? sorry for all the questions and thanks for all your help.

Welcome neighbor (Ludlow here). Sounds like the caliper is binding or not getting even pressure on the rotor. Is it tightened enough? How does the pad look in a side view? If it looks un-even, might be time for the caliper
