The MFT supported modems may also work on an wifi equipped TV as well, and possibly, vise-versa.
If you have a USB wifi modem on your TV, try it in MFT and see if it can utilize the modem.
Network ready/wifi TVs also support very few modems, and cannot load drivers like a computer.
If your TV doesnt have wifi but is capable, & has a network jack, & you are stuck with buying the TV vendors USB wifi modem for $70 or more, then anything like this MFT modem should be tried.
So plug it in and if it lights up, go into the TV network settings and see if you can turn on wifi.
Samsung in the past put 'wifi ready' on the boxes of 2nd and up gen SmarTVs, but it meant just that-"ready" but not yet equipped because their own USB modem was sold seperately.
...Then put the flat screen TV into your Explorer, plug it in, turn on the big game, and drive off into the sunset...
