broken vacuum line

hey i have a broken vacuum line and i was wondering what would be the best way to fix it if at all possible. any suggestions would be appreciated thanx

I would go to a parts store and buy an appropriate amount of vacuum tubing in the correct size and replace the length of tube that broke.

I agree. Simply cutting the broken part off the end and reconnecting only adds to trouble down the road. Just because possibly the end is all that is cracked/broken, doesn't mean the rest is not dry rotted and will do the same in a short time.
