I have an 03 eddie bauer explorer and the abs light recently went on - the codes indicate C1235 and C1236 which I believe are rear wheel sensors. are there 2? if so, or if there's only one, can someone PLEASE show me exactly where the darn thing(s) are?

If there are 2, they will be towards the top op the rear disks, on the inboard side. If there is only one, it will be in the top of the differential, towards the front side. Hope that's enough help to get you started!

If it has the single sensor on the differential, I changed mine by lowering the spare and reaching over the top of the diff to access the sensor. Sure, you have to do a lot by feel, but it's pretty easy and only takes about 30 minutes tops. Mine ran $25 at the local Autozone and my ABS light cleared after a couple of start cycles and driving a mile or so.
