Hm. Someone said that you can adjust this from the top, I just dont see it happening. 1998 Ford Explorer Sport... what am I missing here? Is it much easier to go in from the bottom?
If you think the box might be bad due to the lines mistake... go ahead and tighten the screw, what's it going to hurt?
Really though, mine had significant slop that was reduced by about 70% with a pinch more than 1/4 turn. I could probably go more but there's no binding, the wheel returns to center and it feels nice now. I don't want to push my luck.
How are you guys getting to the adjustment, the power steering pump is almost on top of it?
Still can't figure this out. The procedure look easy but access to do it isn't very easy. Will I need to take the power steering pump off? I need to replace the oil pressure sender and it's right in there so I may just do that unless anyone can give me an better way to do this.
